Good money manager

Employees dependency on salary as income is like what oxygen is to man. Surprisingly, most employees spend their income even before they receive their monthly pay cheque or alert. Many find themselves on zero unit on or before the 15th of the month. This is as a result of either of these two factors. One is economic problems (recession, devaluation of money, inflation, economic melt down etc) while the other factor is self-imposed problems (covetousness, mismanagement of funds, greed, wastefulness, lust etc).

Even with the aid of "budget and planning methods" for salary expenses, many employees or individual still find it difficult to keep tab on their income. Majority today who can't manage income range of above a hundred thousand (in Naira) did not accidentally fall into that state. Rome didn't appear In a day, that mismanagement habit started from the days of little beginnings. Therefore you need to learn how to manage your little income now before the big one surface. Of recent, especially in Nigeria Money has lost its value and to be able to keep tab on your money you need to first put that "lost value" back into money. That is the most effective way to manage your income. Here are some approachable steps to put value back into money in order to be a good money manager

The most approachable steps to adhere are in four stages:
- Acknowledge the value of money relative to your needs not wants
- Treat your salary as a resource (raw material)
- Set your financial budget and expenses on monthly basis and do a review at month end.
- Invest in delay gratification.
- Adhere strictly to your salary expenses ratio.

These principles I propose based on my research on people and experience with money as a manager. If you have incurred debt so much already, do a delay gratification to be able to abide to these steps. It has worked for me a lot though I had to do away with unnecessary wants for now and I must confess it was difficult but today I speak as a potential millionaire. If you can think it, you can be it. CHEERS.
