Leaders or Followers, who is more important?

Leaders or Followers
Who is more important?

I think without a follower a leader can't exist. Followers are what makes a leader. The size of followers devouted to leadership determines the success of the leader. Who is more important, a leader or follower? In the same vein, without a leader followers cease to exist. Followers are guided by leadership procedures. That's by examples, in advise, counsel, actions, positive influence, sacrificial giving etc. From this view it seems both personalities are important. In that one can't exist without the other. They both depend largely on each other.
Looking back in history, great men who have walked the earth have shown us the true value of leadership through their positive influence which has great positive impact on humanity. The record still keeps ex-leaders Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi,Mary Slessor,Martin Luther King Jr,Sir Winston Churchill,Obafemi Awolowo and other great men. They are ex-leaders because they have shown us the true way of becoming a leader, practising true leadership and making of a leader from follower.

If these ex-leaders had no clear cut (non-selfish) vision the impact on followers would have worn off. They had the desire to affect the human generational cause and they lived by these codes (to ensure their hunger and drive are guided with right and moral patterns. If they had failed, they won't have practical followers today who are also charting a leadership cause.

My point is, if anyone fails as a follower such a fellow will fail in leadership. That is not far-fetched because, these days even a religious person will tell you "if I get to power I will take my share of the money too". Followers are getting misguided and misled and these is affecting the future. That is why, our present leaders are immoral in their judgement and decisions. Followers are very important and as well as leaders. We all have a part to play in the human race, if we fail the records won't fail to show it. True Leadership bears True followership.

DEMOCRACY NOT POLITICRACY

And there goes Mr. President promising patient Nigerians who have suffered ill-luck during his regime, under the woes of insurgency, terrorism, open corruption, economic hardship to mention but a few. It is no news that the election was postponed due to the timidity of winning a re-elect as president. Though he (President) hold claims to advance tackling the issue of insecurity in 6weeks, after 6years in power? Without any antagonism even the opposing aspirant who was interviewed by Amanpour of CNN http://lindaikeji.blogspot.com/2015/02/full-video-gen-buharis-interview-with.html (watch for reference) turns out to be a suspect for me.
Gen. Buhari , a DICTATOR turns to be a DEMOCRAT! what are the changes to expect really? All these commoners as politician hide behind political and nonsensical jargons thinking they have effectively communicated their true intentions. Nigerians we know that these BOKO HARAMITES have inside sponsors therefore i dare any of you guy in power to spill the truth about them (BH) otherwise stay silent and expect judgement for the rotten skeletons you also have in your closets.
"I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities." - Nelson Mandela
Can we have a true democrat like Mandela? We pray for a true hero. God bless Nigeria.

think like a boss

ART 1
SEEN 1
Thinking is a work and not to think is a crime. The crime is not punishable by human law but natural laws. By my definition, natural law governs issues and maintain the fundamental principles of life if applied it possess the rights to change. One of the natural law states that, "be what you think you can". In other words, whatever you think you can be you are already! Today you are in your silver jubilee, what it takes for you to be a father is already inherent in you even prior to now. The same vain what it take for you to be a boss is resident in you. The process to being a father or mother is not relatively far fetched to being a boss. If only you can think it, you can be it! Let this few words sink down into you, i will return to dish out more insights on Think Like A Boss!

Stick… Don’t Quit

I define a “serial quitter” as someone who looks for quick fixes, short cuts, drive-through spiritual fast food and all green lights on their road to success.   They often are running in the wrong lane towards the wrong finish line.   Sometimes their ladder of success is propped up against the wrong wall.   Have you said “yes” to the right assignment/purpose for your life?
Once you become clear, determined, diligent, relentless and resilient… no thing and no one can stop you.  Yes, they can discourage you, but you learn to overcome restlessness, impatience, pain and obstacles. Moments of uncertainty and impatience will come, but they subside.
Have you ever stood in line at the grocery store; the line was too long, you were in a hurry, someone ahead of you was taking too long. In your frustration, you kept changing lanes. You exhaled loudly and complained that the store needed more clerks. This is a test of your patience. On the way to your dream/goal/destiny/task, you will experience delays and discouragement.  It’s a test!!!! Can you wait without reward?  Can you endure waiting?   Can you endure when God is silent in your valley?   Can you enjoy the moment?   Patience is one of the fruits of the Spirit.   Patience comes from the Latin word “suffer.” Worship while you wait. Work while you wait. Give thanks while you wait.  Prepare while you wait.  When there is a delay, faith says STAY!
Don’t catch another train because things are not going your way. Overcome a short attention span.  Don’t quit, stick with your plan.
No longer start and stop.   Procrastination is a thief.   No more excuses. Instead of venting your complaints or getting bent out of shape with impatience, be diligent.   Get up and keep the main thing…the MAIN THING!
My word of encouragement for you today is to stay in your lane.   Stay on track.  Laziness, procrastination, lack of confidence and lack of self-control are the enemies to your success.   Be diligent in your faith and actions.   You probably have my book “Shift Happens”.  Remember to read often.    Repetition is important for transforming of your mind to think and bounce back in positive ways.

“The soul of the diligent shall be made full (blessed by the Lord and made to prosper.) ~ Proverbs 13:4

Uncorking Your Creative Thinking

Creative thinking is how we as human beings evolve on a cognitive level. Our ability to utilize our problem solving skills lead to innovative solutions that allow our society to make advancements previously thought impossible. Thinking outside the box is what separates us from many other life forms even if the results are not always for the better.

With the rules and regulations of the world we live in however and the mounting pressure to meet ever growing demands, thinking creatively can be challenging

Here are 5 reasons why the environment we live in often suppresses the creativity and innovation each of us possesses.

Thinking Correctly

Education being as important as it is can ironically also ‘stymie’ any ‘free’ thinking. Formal education is a great thing of that there is no doubt. However we need to recognize that our education MUST continue on well beyond the classroom. By thinking outside the box we feel we are ‘out of bounds’ in regards to what we have learned and therefore are naturally reluctant to do so. On the other hand…..
It is up to each of us to contribute to the overall pool of knowledge by thinking outside the box. Expansive thinking like this turns thought into ‘excepted’ truth which is than taught to others through a formal education process.

The Rules Say No!

Creativity and innovation can easily be perceived as an ‘attack’ on what we know to be true and right. By its very nature creative thought is a type of contrarian thought that can make you feel ill at ease. It goes against the rules and regulations we have come to know as the norm. Like records however many times rules were made to be broken.
People change, society changes, the environment and even the economy changes and along with that so must our way of thinking.

Logic Can Be a Barrier

As logical as logic may be it can also be very confining and restricting to anyone with creative or artistic thoughts. Logic is based upon what we know to be true … at that particular point in time!
Thinking illogically or on a more conceptual basis can be discomforting since it goes against the grain. Therefore our natural tendencies would be to draw back from this type of thought. What we fail to recognize however it that we ourselves ‘define’ and can rewrite logic as we know it. In fact we must if we expect to continue evolving.
Hundreds of years ago it would have been illogical to think of driving in cars and 70 years ago space travel was only the product of fiction writers.

Playing is NOT Constructive

Associating relaxation or ‘play’ time as non-constructive is an inbred perception. These times are ONLY experienced when we are not at work so therefore we are not being constructive.
Contrary to this is the fact that our minds are at their creative best when they are free of pressures or the ‘regimentation’ of the ‘work’ environment. At these times with ‘free’ and uncluttered minds our problem solving skills are usually at their best.

Adherence to Conformity

It is human nature to try and blend in with everybody else. Wanting to be accepted is perfectly natural but when you start to think ‘counter’ to public opinion you can feel like an outcast. This is an understandably uncomfortable feeling.
Creative thought is original thought and therefore will go against what appears to be popularly accepted.

Watch the crowd and go in the opposite direction. As a fisherman if you were to fish only at those streams, lakes or ponds where others do NOT it is likely you will get better results.
Creative thinking is the very basis upon which our problem solving skills are spawned. Over time by thinking outside the box, so to speak, many innovative solutions have been created that beforehand were thought to be impossible. It seems we are only limited by the range of our imaginations. Often times however the creativity and innovation that is found within us can be smothered by the environmental issues that engulf us. The 5 reason mentioned above serve as examples as to how the very magic of our own creativity can be suppressed. Knowing that the barriers we face originate in our own minds thereby make them easier to identify and eventually overcome. With this knowledge we are now in a position to allow our imagination to be limitless and not allow it to actually set limitations on us.
